1. Terms of Use

By accessing or using FundWe, you agree to comply with these Terms. FundWe is a technology platform that enables users to create, share, and support fundraising campaigns.

FundWe acts solely as an intermediary platform and does not own, control, or guarantee any campaign. Campaign creators are fully responsible for the accuracy of their content and the use of funds raised.

We reserve the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove any campaign or user account at our discretion, especially in cases of fraud, misuse, or violation of policies.

Users must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.

2. Privacy Policy

FundWe collects user information such as name, email, IP address, and transaction data to provide and improve services.

Payments are securely processed through trusted third-party providers such as PayPal. FundWe does not store sensitive financial information like card details.

We may use cookies and analytics tools to enhance user experience and monitor platform performance.

User data is never sold and is only shared with trusted service providers when necessary for platform operation, security, or legal compliance.

3. Payment Policy

FundWe supports two types of payment processing:

A. Platform-Processed Payments

Donations are collected through FundWe and later transferred to campaign creators after applying applicable platform fees and third-party transaction charges.

B. Direct Payments

Donations are sent directly to the campaign creator’s PayPal account. In this case, FundWe does not hold, manage, or control any funds.

By making a donation, users acknowledge and accept the selected payment method and applicable fees.

4. Fees & Charges

FundWe may charge a platform service fee on donations processed through the platform.

Third-party payment providers (such as PayPal) may charge additional transaction fees, which are outside FundWe’s control.

All applicable fees will be displayed clearly before completing any transaction.

5. Refund Policy

All donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable.

Refunds may only be issued in exceptional cases such as:

  • Verified fraudulent campaigns
  • Duplicate transactions
  • Legal obligations

All refund requests are subject to review and approval by FundWe.

6. Campaign Policy

Campaign creators must provide accurate, truthful, and complete information.

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Fraudulent or misleading campaigns
  • Illegal or harmful activities
  • Hate speech or abusive content
  • Misuse of raised funds

FundWe reserves the right to review, approve, reject, or remove campaigns at any time.

7. Payout Policy

Platform-Processed Funds:

  • Subject to verification and compliance checks
  • May require identity verification (KYC)
  • Processing may take several business days
  • Minimum payout thresholds may apply

Direct Payments:

  • Funds are instantly transferred to the creator’s account
  • FundWe is not responsible for delays, disputes, or payment issues

Creators are responsible for providing accurate payout details.

8. Identity Verification (KYC) & Compliance

To ensure platform safety and prevent fraud, FundWe may require users (especially campaign creators) to complete identity verification.

This may include:

  • Government-issued identification
  • Contact verification (email/phone)
  • Additional documentation if required

FundWe may delay or restrict payouts until verification is completed.

9. Anti-Fraud & Monitoring

FundWe actively monitors transactions and campaigns for suspicious activity.

We may:

  • Flag or pause suspicious donations
  • Investigate unusual behavior
  • Report fraudulent activities to relevant authorities if required

Accounts involved in fraud may be permanently banned.

10. Disputes & Reporting

Users can report campaigns or transactions they believe are suspicious or misleading.

FundWe will review reports and may take actions such as:

  • Temporarily suspending campaigns
  • Requesting additional verification
  • Removing content or banning users

All decisions made by FundWe in such cases are final.

11. Taxes & Financial Responsibility

Campaign creators are solely responsible for:

  • Reporting income received through the platform
  • Paying any applicable taxes or fees

FundWe does not provide tax advice and is not responsible for users’ financial obligations.

12. Community Guidelines

Users must behave respectfully and honestly.

The following actions are prohibited:

  • Fraud or deception
  • Harassment or abuse
  • Posting false or misleading information
  • Attempting to manipulate donations

Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban.

13. Limitation of Responsibility

FundWe acts only as a platform connecting donors and campaign creators.

We do not guarantee:

  • Campaign success
  • Accuracy of campaign information
  • Proper use of funds

All donations are made at the donor’s own risk.

14. Account Suspension & Termination

FundWe reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate policies
  • Engage in suspicious or fraudulent activity
  • Fail to complete required verification

15. Updates to Policies

FundWe may update these policies at any time.

Continued use of the platform after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
